For a fluffy, lighthearted summer contemporary this pretty much ticked all the boxes, yet I just couldn’t get into it. I really enjoyed experiencing the development of the sisters relationship, and seeing them both grow as characters. However, they didn’t exactly seem particularly realistic for their ages, in fact their actions were just ridiculous. I did enjoy reading about their family background and sister who was lost in a horrific manner. I thought the author could’ve definitely included more about their earlier lives as I found those aspects of the story far more interesting than the road trip itself.
I would recommend this but it just wasn’t for me (cute cover though!).

Many thanks to the author, publisher and Readers First for sending me a copy of this book in return for an honest review.
