Two sisters, one of them a little bit crazy, the other down to earth and getting married imminently; both of them grieving for their older sister.
Lottie about to get married to Dean and Tina set off for a road trip across America, one last adventure before Lottie settles down and gets married and a chance to scatter, Mia's, their older sister's, ashes at Landing Rock, a place from a movie that she loved. Tina is not sure about Lottie's marriage to dull Dean as she calls him, and decides that she is going to try and make Lottie's life a bit more exciting, so she sets her a challenge, that everything she suggests for Lottie to do along the way Lottie has to do no matter what. Probably just like any sisters, as they spend time together they learn more about each other and realise there are things that they didn't know about each other, and as they travel along they hurtle from one adventure to another.
It took me a while to really get into this book, but once I did I enjoyed reading it the relationship between the sisters was really quite heartwarming and emotional in places, with some humour thrown in too. A lovely read.
