I thought this would be a 3 star most of the way through, then it just dragged for so long it became a 2 star. But I just couldn’t bear the last 100 pages, I skimmed, reading a couple of words from each just out of the obligation to finish.

What horrible characters. They’re vile to each other and childish and arrogant and pathetic. Tina purposefully trying to split up her sisters engagement because she thinks her life is boring - why not try, umm, ten years ago? And Lottie, the supposedly likeable character, ruining her 10 year relationship for a one night stand because she was “dazzled” and “there was a moon and I felt pretty”!? Have some self respect. Better yet, have some respect for the man you’ve spent the last 10 years of your life with then have to cheat on to realise you love... because of course she still loves him. And of course he still loves her, because these horrible character obviously need the happy ending they don’t deserve, because heaven forbid we have an interesting ending where they all end up miserable and actually have to face the consequences of their actions.

If you were a book, what type would you be?

Not this one.
