Firstly, was a super cute cover design! Secondly, as a hopeless dog lover (and someone who has fallen flat on her face staring at a passing dog and not watching the road ahead!) I can hardly resist books which feature them. After Marley and Me, this one looks a safe bet - rather than several boxes of tissues to absorb the tears!
