As someone in my late 20s, this seems like a relatable memoir, with an easy-to-read style. It seems to have an interesting structure, the chapters being named after the dogs Kate has walked, and I have a feeling we will be able to see Kate's personal growth as she gets to know her canine-companions during the course of the novel.
