What a feel-good treat this promises to be!

This memoir from Kate MacDougall promise to be a treat of a read! I love her writing style because it conjures up such vivid pictures ... I immediately felt drawn into the world she was describing. From the way in which she brought Frank (how wonderful that this Jack Russell was, in fact, a girl!) and then Winston the Labrador to life, she demonstrated just how much she loved her doggy companions and if I'm fortunate enough to win a copy of this book I'll look forward to being introduced to all the others she takes for walkies. However, I think the real interest for me will be in discovering how she deals with the challenges posed by some eccentric and demanding owners, with Finlay ... and with her wedding bells obsessed mother! It should be a riot of a read - especially as I'm still chuckling about Winston and his balls:-)
