This was a good book it was fun killing a weekend reading it. Good characters, based on real people and their problems from boring jobs, breakups, and lots and lots of dog walks all around London, several different dogs and various neurotic 'dog parents' each chapter starts with a dog's name and description and tells you the dogs like etc and then usually goes into a bit about the people that own the dogs and their lives too, whilst also going between the dog walker Kate's own life from cramped mouldy flats in basements to a nicer flat in a nicer area near one of her more 'neurotic' dog parents. The dogs themselves are a total joy, their stories of cheekiness are absolutely adorable, and in some cases very sad at the end. There are some high points and some low points, but overall q fairly good read. But I'm afraid I can't give it a higher rating as it was such a slow starter and it's not a gripping read. Sorry.
