This book is exactly what it says on face value, it is light and cheery. A great book to read if you are feeling down or want an easy read. It is written well and does not drag on for too long. The best bit for me was the description of each dog. Thus, this book is certainly a must read for anyone who cant resist a cute pooch.
However, I am only going to give it 3 stars out of 5 as I feel as though there could have been more substance and depth to it. Although it was fun to read and made me smile, I was kind of hoping for a big plost twist or something to suddenly get me on the edge of my seat wanting to read more. But that is just my opnion, it is most certainly a cheerful read and would be perfect when you are feeling low or want to de-stress from what life is offering.
The story plot is partly relatable regarding watching your friends get on with their lives so thats a plus!
