This is such a wonderful book. I knew straight away from the title and cover that this would be an enjoyable read and it certainly proved me right. The book is written with such heart and I loved how each chapter was focused round a different dog.
The book is filled to the brim with amusing stories of all the different dogs walked and the quirks of each dog. I also liked the personal elements to do with Kate's personal life with regards to her growing up and becoming a wife, a dog mum and then a mother to her much longed for babies. The final part of the book regarding Stanley was heart-breaking but told in a matter of fact way. This was lovely because despite not being written in an overly emotive way it conjured up memories that all those that have loved and lost a dog have.
This charming book is a must read for all dog lovers. it is impossible to read this and not have a smile on your face.
