I really enjoyed this book.

It follows Kate on her journey through a few years of her life from working at sothebys to becoming a dog walker. Her mother thinks she is crazy and suffering some sort of early midlife crisis.

But she starts out slowly and it follows a few of the dogs and their owners on her adventure and sometimes you wander who is worse the dog or the owner. There are lots of laughs out loud moments along the way of all the little things they have to do for the dogs and how pampered they are.

It also follows kate as she gets married and has children and what her mother thinks of how she is doing at life.

At times I really felt for Kate and all her dog problems or should I say the problematic dog owners with things like dog custody battles to deal with and basically becoming people's pa.

There were plenty of cringe worthy moments like when they were asked not to walk dogs but just to go to the house to pick up the poop lol.

A really good read.
