This is one of those books which is not necessarily my go to genre but wow am I glad I did get this. It combine my love for animals and a need for adventure which is always a great com. bination. The Author made this a very funny but sad story of a characters life and their growth. I am personally more of a cat person but who does love a dog to snuggly up with. The author also manages to describe all of the character - human and furry - in such a way that it makes you want to be friends with them.

Being set in London, and having grown up in Surrey, this was a book where I was able to place the location and imagine the book in a real life aspect as if I was watching a TV Show - which is always a fantastic talent to have as an author. It is a credit to them that myself, as a reader, was able to put myself in the places which were being describe and see everything which was going on.

I have already recommended this to several of my friends and anyone who has read it as loved it as well.
