I had high hopes for this book. I thought this would be a really easy, light hearted book to read and the addition of it being about dogs was great!
However I found myself getting bored and found the book quickly became repetitive without any clear plot line or direction of where this story was heading.
The characters were mediocre and nothing was particularly 'stand out' about them. The combination of mediocre characters and a story that was going nowhere fast meant that 2/3 of the way in I unfortunately decided to DNF this book.
I had about 80 pages left to read but by this point I did not really care what happened as i had zero connection to the story and zero connection to the characters.
The front cover is really cute and I probably would pick this book up off the shelf - however it is disappointing that the actual story bored me.
