A book for all lovers of pets, especially dogs. It does take a little while to get into this book, but when you do there are some poignant moments amongst the lesser-believable anecdotes. The park scenarios vary wildly from sublime to ridiculous.

At a time when many will be wondering if they have an office environment to go back to, it's a book for day-dreams and some soul-searching to consider a different lifestyle and employment.

I loved the descriptions of dogs and their owners, a dog-walker is privy to many households, especially when going into an otherwise empty home. I did find the narrator a little naive and down-trodden in her ability to stand up for herself, even though it's crucial to be able to relate to owners as well as their pets if you want to get and keep work.

A predictable happy ending in this book for all the main characters and (most of the) dogs.
