I really enjoyed this book. I usually would not go for this genre or writing style but after reading the first impression I fell in love with Kate MacDougall's writing. From the cover to each chapter you could tell that love and care had gone into it.
I enjoyed the fact that each chapter was a separate piece of the overall story and that you gained an insight in to the daily life and experiences within that time. It also gave an insight in to the various people you could potentially meet within London. My favourite chapters were the ones about Winston and I couldn't wait to get to the next one when I finished each one.
While I enjoyed it overall I only gave it four stars as there were some areas which didnt grab my attention as much as others andd made it feel like I was just reading to finish the book. However these areas were few and far between.
I will definitely be re-reading London's No. 1 Dog Walking Agency!
