I had not heard much about Kate MacDougall before and was not really sure what to expect, but I was intrigued. I enjoy reading non fiction and I was not disappointed by this. This was really entertaining and heart warming to read.
It was enjoyable to read about some of the dogs and their owners that Kate got to work with. Having the chapters separated by the dogs was great, and I liked getting to read more about her life at the time she walked each of the dogs, as well as getting to know more about the dogs. At times it was quite funny.
I really enjoyed the narrative. It was not too formal and it felt quite natural. It was written in an entertaining and gripping way. All of this made the writing flow really nicely and smoothly. All of the chapters followed the previous nicely and naturally.
The cover for this book is stunning, I love all of the detail. It is really eye catching and I think that it fits perfectly with the book.
