Kate is keen, ambitious and fed up of the rat race, she looks around herself at her peers and wishes she was more successful, not least to get her mother off her back. She decides to leave the monotony of her 9-5 behind and find something that she can relate to more. I am certain that many of us can relate. From this state of frustration the idea to form a dog walking agency is formed, cue a myriad of furry and human quirky personalities that bring humour and huge entertainment at every turn of the page.

I found the characters relatable and genuine, which makes you want to keep turning the pages. It is evident that the authour knows her dogs and the quirks of individual breeds. At times I laughed out loud at the bizarre situations and circumstances Kate found herself in.

This book is one large dog walk through the parks of London, why not come along for the walk, you won’t be disappointed. It’s a coming of age tale, poignant and hilarious In equal measure.

I was provided with and advanced readers copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
