A lovely, easy and fun read. The book follows Kate as she leaves her office job and sets up a dog-walking business in London before it was a widely accepted service here in the UK. Each chapter is named after the new (or revisited) dogs she takes on which is a great way to break up the story but keep it moving. Over the years Kate and her business grow up until they reach full adulthood and reading about the evolution of both was very enjoyable.
It's a heart-warming story about someone making a change in their life and deciding they want more. Kate shows a lot of bravery, which she misreads as foolishness sometimes - this made me relate to her more. It's easy to think the worse of yourself, even in the face of lots of evidence that you are doing well, it's a feeling we can all identify from some part of our lives and this is a positive story about not settling.
