This is such a lovely read. If you like dogs, like I do, you will really enjoy this and even if you aren't particularly keen on dogs I am sure you will still enjoy it.
Kate had a job in Sotheby's but it wasn't really her idea of a career, after another clumsy accident and a couple of broken porcelain pigeons, she decides that is it, time for a change of direction. She starts up a dog walking agency, unfit and unknown as a dog walker, she slowly builds her business and each chapter of the book tells the reader the story of a different dog. It is not just about the dog though the story also tells of the owners and their very different lives and idiosyncrasies.
Kate's boyfriend is not really keen on dogs but slowly he is won over. In the background is Kate's mother who is not really sure that Kate is doing the right thing, she is on the look out for wedding bells, followed by a grandchild. All the characters are really lovable and it is easy to relate to them.
