I was chuckling and smiling away throughout this read and if I had a tail it would have been wagging!
I thought Kate MacDougall was very brave, as she gave up a safe and what she found a boring job to set up a dog walking business in London (despite a lot of discouragement from her mother). Each chapter was a joy and pleasure as she takes you along to met new dogs and their distinctive owners or we revisit previous dogs and the ongoings of their keepers. Kate has captured in her writing endless amusing ‘tails’ of her dog walking escapades. We see Kate work through the recession, trying out marketing incentives (hilariously unsuccessful) and the growing competition of other dog walkers. I really admired her calm resolve in how she deals with the idiosyncrasies of all the dog owners and her team of walkers, alongside making her own life decisions and establishing her own life.
