Kate is working in Sotherbys in London and feels completely unsatisfied with her hum drum work life. She takes a massive leap and decides to walk out of her job and start a dog walking business.
She manages to blag her first few clients with some exaggerated references from pretend customers (courtesy of her own mother) and as easy as that, Number One Dog Walking Agency was born.

This is a really witty memoir, full of lots of interesting people and their wonderful dogs. It's well known that dog people can be a little odd but some of these are pretty wacky.
From the obsessively clean owners who colour coordinated their entire house to match their adored dog, to the pampered pet who lived a fully vegan life but was partial to a bit of beef on the sly. A special mention to dear old Stanley the rescue hound. Who knew his own mind and was very reluctant to leave the front step. I loved reading about his wonderful relationship with his walker, Tom, who definitely found his soul mate.

Throughout this warm hearted book there are lots of laughs, tears and outrageous behaviour.

This is great for anyone looking for a feel good story without the schmaltz. It has great characters and shows off the beautiful London parks.
