London's Number One Dog- Walking Agency was warm and lovely. It was not at all what I had expected from the cover, first of all I had thought it would be fiction and was pleasantly surprised to find out that it was a memoir.

Based in London, this memoir tells the story of the author Kate, who left her job and started her own dog-walking company. I enjoyed how the novel presented the true impact a human- pet relationship has, and reminds readers that it is just joyful to do the things you love and to be a child for a while.

I also enjoyed reading how Kate managed to prove everyone wrong. At the start of the memoir, it was popular belief that she was clumsy and wouldn't make it anywhere but by the end it was obvious that Kate found the thing which sparked her joy. I loved seeing the character development within this book, and would thoroughly recommend to anyone who enjoys writing similar to that of Jojo Moyes.
