As soon as I started reading, this book reminded me of why I keep saying I want to read kore fiction. This recounts real life stories, relating to other humans and leaving you feeling mixed emotions in a pleasant way. I enjoyed the few pages I got to read
Have marked it down for 3 reasons; requires a little too much knowledge of the Durrells (have never read the book or watched the TV series), the chapters seem unnecessarily short, making the book seems too fast paced and snappy, and the cover is dull.
Would read the whole thing.
