The first page grabbed me, I grew up with a single parent who became ill with cancer and I remember those days sitting in the hospital holding onto my mothers hand, hoping to squeeze out the illness. Penny travels to Corfu for a month to answer questions. It’s started out as an easy read, one perfect for the summer period, it’s definitely a book I would take on holiday or to the beach and lose myself in for a few hours. This book has a few characters in which I would like to know more about, I feel there’s more to the backstory than we know at the moment but it’s a book I would like to read more of and find out where the story is going and more about the characters. The writing style is easy to follow. The cover looks appealing, it’s bright and eye catching and one that someone would grab if looking for a holiday read.
