The first chapter was hard to read we find the main character sitting with her father on his death bed and realising that her fiancé is not who she thought he was. Next we find the tone of the book totally changes as we set off on a month long holiday too corfu. This is just the type of book you need to read after lockdown! Beautiful descriptions and sense of adventure awaiting interwined with a love for the durrells and corfu.
