I am a massive fan of "My Family and Other Animals" and of the island of Corfu and so was delighted to see a novel referencing both. The first impression gave an idea of a lovely escapist fantasy and I would be very eager to continue reading. Eevn the cover made me excited to escape into the nostalgia I feel for these wonderful Durrell memories!
