As someone who loved the tales of the Durrells in Corfu I was very excited when this book came up. The writing style really speaks to me, detailed and thoughtful as we join Penny and the start of her journey after her life shifts entirely. It seems like the perfect book to settle in the sun with this summer, going on holiday in the comfort of your own home whilst we wait to be able to travel freely!
