I saw the cover and I knew straight away that I need to read the excerpt on here. It starts sadly with Penny's dad passing away - the scene you don't expect from this beautiful and colourful cover. But then Penny decides to leave for Corfu and the scenery and atmosphere changes and reminds the reader of those holiday cover colours. Will she find what she's looking for? What is she looking for anyway? It starts as a perfect summer read. I can't wait to see what will happen on Corfu and if Penny finds proper Durrell experience.
