I had originally read the first look of this book and was instantly hooked after receiving my copy I hadn't had a chance to read it until now I am currently on holiday and have literally read it in one sitting I didn't want it to end! The characters are well rounded and you want to know more about them straight away. There are different stories and threads running throughout and as they all become interwoven through the book it holds your attention. It is well written and with the whole story being told with another series of books and writers at its core it is clear the author knew what she was talking about. The way that Corfu is written about it such beautiful detail brings the whole thing alive,I have never been but definitely want to visit now. Although at its centre is one character all the supporting characters play such an important role that it pulls you in to all of their worlds. Absolutely worth a read and will be looking out for this author again it has also made me want to re-read My family and other animals.
