This book was definitely a feel good, fuzzy read. I read it during the summertime so it definitely felt like a perfect book for the perfect time. I really thought the scenery and the images of corfu Was really beautiful and vivid. I found myself connecting with the main character, Penny as she seemed to just have a sequential stroke of bad luck after her engagement to her fiance is over, her beloved father then passes away Soon after. I felt delighted at the peace and tranquility Corfu brings her. She also had a connection with the island as her and her father almost always talked about the isle because t was in a favorite novel both she and her father adored. The colors on the cover really caught my eye and most definitely does this feel good, contemporary adventure of overcoming sorrow justice. I found my own salvation if only for a while in Penny's salvation on the island of corfu.
