Looking for the Durrells
As soon as I saw this book and the cover and the title I knew it was for me, and that was without reading anything at all about it.
I am a great fan of the Durrells and their way of life and have just loved all I have read and seen about them.
The 2 television programs gave me such pleasure and many a chuckle (and isn't that what we all need in this Covid world at the moment)...I have the DVD's and all the books about Gerald Durrell's life and find them fascinating...
I have visited his zoo in Jersey a couple of times too.
What an interesting childhood he must have had in Corfu. I have spent a month on Corfu island and found it to be just as idealic as the books portray.
This book follows Penny's dreams from her reading Gerald Durrell’s "My Family and Other Animals" and how her life becomes entwined with many others that she meets.
I am sure it's a book that you would love just as much as I do.
