You will have to bear with me on this one as I read it in the summer and have only just remembered to write the review.
First of all the front cover: it's stunning! Meant to reflect the Greek island it's depicting, it's bright, beautiful and reminds you of sunny summer days.
The writing style is easy and it is a quick read. I read it within a week and it wasn't too taxing a read.
The characters are engaging and lovable. Especially the main character - you join her along her adventure and need to escape. The other characters working in the restaurant also seem lovely and you can tell their heart-warming nature matches the tone of the new setting she is in.
I found the story was quite predicatable, as it often is with this type of genre, but despite this I still found it engaging and managed to get to the end! I would def read another book by this author!
