I thought that 'Looking for the Durrell's' was the perfect read for the summer months. Set in gorgeous Corfu, it was great to get some summer time escapism and read the vivid descriptions of the destination.
I really enjoy books that are written from multiple perspectives and 'Looking for the Durrell's' did that very well. All of the characters had there own distinct voice, meaning I knew what character the perspective was from without being told exactly. I thought the book was well written.
I really liked that the chapters were all short, as it meant I could fly through the book pretty quickly and could easily pick the book up when I had a free moment.
The front cover of the book is beautiful; the colours are so vivid, the illustrations are pretty, and the font is nice. I think the cover is really eye-catching and matches the vibe of the book exactly.
