Firstly I love the front cover and layout of this book, I think it is very classic and appealing without being too in your face its summer vibes and gives me romance contemporary feels.
I like penny as the main character as she seems very relatable although the prologue does hit hard straight off the bat with a relatable situation where her dad is dying in a hospital. I love the journey of the main character hunt for the Durrells which is the author of the book that her dad loved and it's about her following the remains of the love she has for her dad. I loved the short chapter personally as I think this imitates the mind and the short snippets of the main characters life. i love the way grief is portrayed in this book I loved the description of the pain that you can feel but also look normal on the outside and makes it feel like a new life and a new planet/view on the world.
I loved the way this is written and love the way the author portrayed the book and the feelings and emotions in this book, I think I will carry on reading more books from this author in the future.
