This is a book set in what I think is modern-day, but with a slightly rustic theme surrounding it. They live in a small village and don't have as much technology as we do today. The book starts off with a lighthouse which seems to hold a significant role in the book. It is a place that feels like home to the main character, it is a place where she can go and relax and fully think about what is going on in her life, and she can think about everything she is feeling without anyone else knowing or seeing. There is also a common theme of the stars which is interesting to anyone who doesn't know about the stars and a bonus to anyone reading the book that hasn't researched the stars before. It is something that used to link her and her father together, they bonded over how much they both enjoyed looking at the stars and learning new things about them over the years. Overall, I think this is the start of a very interesting book that will be very memorable.
