You feel instantly on her side, particularly in her initial dealings with her parents, and I'm itching to find out how that relationship will develop. Will she finally admit how she feels about the life they want her to lead? I’m gripped! This book gives us a glimpse into the world of a young Muslim girl navigating life in the US and gives us the insight into problems arising from Islamophobia.
