So I'm someone who really isn't a fan of YA contemporary. I like something fantastical with my teen angst. But I'd heard such great things about this book that I had to check it out.
This book has a great start, you're immediately immersed in Maya's mind and culture. It's an easy read and Maya truly seems like a loveable MC.
