This story gets straight to the point within the first 6 lines which I appreciate and I also love the fact that the author has remembered that mobile phones are a thing, unlike most, and has incorporated them into their story telling.
We need more diversity in today's world of books and it has been made evident within the first two pages that the main character is a person of colour!
Another thing that I enjoy about this is that the chapters are relatively short which means it is easy to zoom through when reading.
