The cover of this book is cute, light and airy, i was drawn in by the cuteness of it all. The book title i found to be really clever because of it relating to a camera in one way.

The blurb sounded good, i always worry about stories that depict terrorism as it is obviously a touchy subject and the author has to really take great care in how it is written so as not to deeply offend or upset anybody.

Over all i really enjoyed the story, a young girl blossoming into adulthood, trying to find her own way in life but also adhering to her parents rules, wishes and her own religion. I think the author captured it really well. I'm not educated enough to give a strong opinion on it but i imagine it is fairly accurate.

I think the author captured the topic of islamaphobia and racism really well, it was difficult in parts to read due to the fact that this does happen in real life even day to day for some people and it breaks my heart knowing that even in modern times people of different races and backgrounds still face this stigma.

In conclusion, i thought this book was a good one despite the very serious topics.
