Once I read the blurb of this book I was definetly excited to read this book as I had yet to come across a book to portray this culture from a girls point of view, and of course I'm a sucker for a some romance.
It's very rare to come across books that look at different religions which is why when there are books that look at this it's makes it all the more interesting to read.
After reading a few pages I got really into the book as the writing style just flows along and Maya the main character is so likeable and the way she talks and acts is so relatable to teens.
I definitely will be going and getting a copy of this book for myself as I can really see myself enjoying this book. seeing the struggles that a young girl has to go through to please her family.
