Maya is a very lovable character, she is kind and inspiring and she plays the perfect part of and Indian teenager growing up in America. She is struck by many confusing problems but she stays resilient and strong through all of them. Her love for film is wonderful, and the way her mind works makes her such a great character, it's impossible to hate her.
