This book is eye opening, emotional and heartwarming all at the same time. Maya is a teenager whose life is torn apart when a terrorist attack occurs, with the attacker sharing her last name.
I would put this book on every single person's TBR list! The content was handled delicately yet with impact. I really felt connected with the main characters, especially Maya herself. The plot was atmospheric yet tense, dealing with real world problems honestly. I also enjoyed the more lighter and fun parts of the book as well. There is a lovely friendship element in this story which I really enjoyed, along with a romantic interest.
The writing flowed very well and was very easy to read, I flew through this book in a couple of days.
