Cupid is alive and well working as a check-in attendant .... who knew?

Liked the story’s theme, the writing style and vocabulary were easy going so a perfect holiday read; nothing too challenging, complicated or alarming.

Cora and the other characters were all believable, my favourite had to be Ingrid. When you read the book you’ll find out why - no spoiler from me. The most poignant element was the letter from Sheila - brought a tear to my eye and definitely touched my heart.

From the book title I was expecting quite a lot more match making anecdotes but what we were given were amusing, cute and sometimes laughable. All good there.

I felt that some of the supposedly main characters had merely cameo parts in the story and were there as instruments to make the authors end outcome work. They were a bit flat, lacking substance.

I enjoyed the book though and would pick up another book by this writer if I saw one at an airport shop or to take on holiday with me. If you enjoy a love story then you will enjoy this.
