I loved how the first sentence sets the humorous tone for the rest of the book-it lets you know exactly what you're in for. Although this book isn't really my thing, I feel like it will do well with its target audience. I really enjoyed how even from the extract it becomes obvious that the book is not holding back, and is taking a candid look at motherhood and the lives that normal people live.
