Contemporary is either a hit or miss for me. This book may very well appeal to mothers who can relate but might not for those of us without children. I think that limits it in itself, and the title as well as the whole vibe of the book may throw someone off as being a 'mum' book, or parenting guide.
Also seems as if its written about the authors own life like an autobiography. The main character and her have basically the same life so I'm not sure how I feel about that on a creative level.
