Sitting here expecting my second child I didn't know whether to take the first impression of this book as a glimpse in to how to cope with two, or a warning on how I may feel. It's good to read an honest portrayal of motherhood in all its guts and glory; with a good does of humour. It's difficult to know if this will be just another mummy book or if there will be a twist, or enough honesty and humour that will lift the story throughout. The storyline of trying to get back into the workplace along with dealing with a neuro-diverse child may make this book stand out in a crowded marketplace.
I don't think the book cover does the storyline justice but it is eye catching.
I would look forward to reading if Lucy finds the balance to look after everybody and herself.
