I just had to give this book the maximum five stars. It was funny, witty and extremely entertaining. I felt a great empathy with the main character Lucy. Every mother can relate to her life. I felt sorry for her when she couldn't find anything that fitted her except for a four pound beach dress from Primark. All new mother's feel down about themselves. It was funny, yet tragic at the same time. The originality of Lucy's profession was a very interesting direction for the story to take. Them both being musicians is quite unusual in itself. I felt there was going to be much more milage in this aspect of the story. I enjoyed this book so much, that I am going to buy it sometime soon. My congratulations go out to the author for a book which not only raised my spirits during a very difficult time, but reminded me what it was like to laugh out loud. Thank you.
