I adored this book.
I felt at home in the first chapter and really enjoyed reading it. It's such a light hearted and funny read but I do admit it made me tear up a little in a few places!
I really like the cover too, it's simple and has no 'real' faces or photographs on it so I'm not embarrassed to have the book on show in public (I'm a bit fussy).
The characters are relatable and Lucy really resonated with alot of 'mum' feelings I have myself, I genuinely felt SO seen.
The story itself is easy to follow too which is always a bonus as it meant I was able to get through it fairly quickly as I also enjoyed it. I was kept on my toes a bit as to how it would end, but I'm happy with the final ending.
Just a word of warning though, if you're not into casual swearing this one is not for you. It'a by no means excessive but I know some people can't stand swearing and there are quite a few in this book!
