M is for Mummy is a really entertaining read. Telling the tale of Lucy; a rather stressed out mum of two and her journey to the revelation that her son has autism, whilst also trying to claw back her career as a musician.

The book is funny and many mums will identify with the never-ending daily juggle of motherhood.

I really identified with the parenting comparisons Lucy made of herself against others and realised that we probably all do it, but it brings nothing positive with it.

The support of her friends however was a real positive and I enjoyed a lot of the female characters - shame the same can't be said for the mother in law though.

I think for anyone who is interested in neurodiversity, or just gets that we're all very different with our own unique quirks, you'll enjoy this read.

Parents will also enjoy the comfort in knowing that we're all challenged at times and nobody really does have it easy - despite what it sometimes looks like.
