When the first sentence in a book is about farts, you just know that it’s going to be a fun read. It was fun and so much more!
I went into this one with fairly high hopes and it certainly did not disappoint! The writing was witty and fast paced and enjoyable.
This book had me laughing the whole way through, but it also tackled some deeper issues, the struggles of parenting, marriage and autism.
I thought that these subjects were addressed perfectly, with humour but also with the seriousness and delicacy that were required.
I loved the main characters, but also I thought all of the other characters in the book really added something to the story, they weren’t just there as extra parts which you sometimes find.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and definitely recommend it 100% and will look out for any more books by this author in future.
