I knew I was going to enjoy this, and I really did! This was a great book and had me laughing out loud. Stan was such a loveable character, along with baby Jack, and was fun reading about the ups and downs of this family. Along with some comedy, there were also moments of tears, especially as Lucy - the Mum - is shown struggling with life's issues, and trying her utmost best to build a good relationship with her possibly an autistic child. Additionally, Lucy struggles to maintain her identity and keep up with her dreams of a career in music. It was interesting to see the world through a child with autism, and the impact it has on the rest of the people in their lives. This book also delves into the importance of supportive female friendships, and I loved reading the parts where Lucy spent with her best friends. The author did a great job in writing this book, and I think mothers would love this kind of read.
